The Hope Closet
The Hope Closet of Dover provides personal hygiene items for area residents
who have a social services referral. During the holiday season,
Dover High School Interact Club members, with support from the Colonial Rotary
Club of Dover, assisted in the collection and distribution of personal hygiene
items from the Hope Closet. The Hope Closet is located in Hope United
Methodist Church. It opened in 2003 and is supported by Wesley College
students during the school year. It fulfills a unique service by providing
personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, shampoo, soap, detergent and tissues
to people in need of assistance.
